~Shrimp Pasta in Herb/Garlic Butter Sauce~

1 pound peeled, deveined shrimp
1 pound speghetti (1 box dry pasta)
1 stick butter plus 3 TBS for Sauteed Shrimp
1 tsp dried oregano
1 TBSP fresh chopped parsley (or dried parsley)
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp garlic powder (for shrimp)
Salt and pepper to taste. Grated parmesan to taste.
Reserve 1 Cup pasta water

Boil pasta according to directions on package. Be sure to salt the water well.

Season shrimp well with salt, pepper and 1 tsp garlic powder. Sautee the shrimp in 3 TBS melted butter for just a few mins, til pink. Remove shrimp from pan. Add each of these to same pan: 1 stick butter, 1 tsp dried oregano, 1 TBS parsley, 2 tsp minced garlic and a dash of salt and pepper (to taste).

Drain pasta, reserving 1 Cup pasta water. Add pasta to the pan with herb butter sauce and add shrimp. Toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water as needed (I usually use about half cup) sprinkle with parmesan and ENJOY!
